What's new for Honda Pilot in 2022?
Introduced with last year's model, Honda is again offering the mid-range Special Edition (SE)trim option for 2022, in addition to the entry-level EX-L, Touring, as well as the new Elite and Black Edition models.
The Pilot Elite is available exclusively in a seven-passenger configuration, featuring second-row, ventilated captain's chairs, versus bench seating. Particularly popular with drivers is Elite's addition of the panoramic moonroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, auto-dimming side mirrors, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. All-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard in Elite and Black Edition models and is available on lower-priced trim models.
Pilot's Black Edition also features second-row captain's chairs and a sharp, fully black exterior, including 20-inch black wheels. The Black Edition contrasts its exterior beauty with red interior accents – including red ambient lighting.
Also newly standard in 2022, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay on all Honda Pilot models. LED headlights now come standard with all models, as well. Be assured, buyers selecting entry-level and other trim options (EX-L, SE, and Touring) won't sacrifice safety features. Every 2022 Honda Pilot comes well equipped with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and auto high beams. Previously reserved only for upper trim models, every Pilot also features a standard nine-speed automatic transmission (with paddle controls). First offered with the 2021 model, this feature previously was reserved for upper-level trim models.

Honda Pilot's flexible cargo space offers 83.8-cubic feet of total cargo space when the second and third rows are folded down – great for trips to and from the home improvement warehouse, or anytime you need lots of cargo room. Folding down the third row reveals 16.5-cubic feet of storage space – perfect for grocery runs and adventures! Accessing the 2022 Pilot's third row is now easier than ever before with Honda's One-Touch Walk-In feature, which repositions second-row seating with the simple push of a button.
